Suzy Brecht
Master of Ceremonies
Suzy Brecht has been teaching ballroom and Latin dance since 1988 and she is certified in both American and international styles. For six years, she managed the Michiagn's largest ballroom in Bloomfield Hills. She also holds the title of Director of Ballroom Dance in Ontario, Canada.
Always animated, Suzy has taught in Wayne State University’s Theatre Department and often serves as a master of ceremonies or disc jockey for ballroom functions. In addition, she has also been the recipient of numerous coveted “Top Teacher” awards at ballroom competitions throughout the United States and Canada. Currently, Suzy works as an independent teacher at many local studios. Aside from dancing, she also specializes in youth rhythm and dance development as well as toddler creative movement.
